End of the Year Anime

         The holidays are approaching fast so I thought it would be fun to review a holiday episode of an anime! My friends and I watched the Christmas episode of SGT. Frog. I've never seen this anime before so it was... interesting. The theme song of the series is in Japanese but there were subtitles and the lyrics didn't make any sense to me. The theme song was very random but it set a funny tone for the series. When the episode started I didn't know any of the character's names but the creator of the series did a great job with the character's personalities so I could tell what kind of characters they were right away.  Apparently the frogs are invaders from another planet but they are having a tough time conquering the world. They are given residence by a human family and are still trying to concur the world. That's basically all the series is about to my knowledge. In this episode the frogs think that Santa Claus is a fellow alien trying to take over the human race but as the show goes on the frogs learn the true meaning of Christmas. This may sound like every other Christmas special but this one is quite unusual due to the characters, the theme, and the very opinionated narrator.
